Flying with Branch
In 1946 Branch Rickey was one of the owners, president and general manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers. He also flew. At least from Montreal to New York just before Christmas of 1946.
Others on board were Arthur Mann (assistant to Mr. Rickey), Harold Parrott (traveling secretary), Fresco Thompson (assistant farm club director), Emil Bavasi (Nashua Dodgers business manager), and Harold Roettger (assistant to Mr. Rickey).
These men filled other roles during their time with the Dodgers.
